The results of in vitro experiments for prunus necrotic ringspot ilarvirus (PNRSV) elimination in rosaceous fruit trees are summarized. Measurements of shoot tip growth, virus content and plant shoot survival following heat treatment applied to in vitro grown Summerset and Hermosa peach shoots infected with PNRSV, compared with untreated control at 25℃, are tabulated.
