Data on bud break date, date of flowering and flowers/dichasium were recorded along with 5 fruit characters in progeny resulting from the crossing of 4 female with 3 male (2 strictly male and one inconstant male) lines. Heritability estimates rangedfrom low to medium suggesting that family selection is more suitable than mass selection.
