Registration in compression courses at vocational colleges appears to be on the upswing as students react to rising demand for equipment technicians. The outlook appeared bleaker last year. Enrollment was down overall, two community colleges had closed their small compression training programs, and two more suspended classes for lack of students (see COMPRESSORTECH~2, July 2018, p. 22).
