Market sentiment suggests we are moving past the dip at the start of the year and headingtowards similar sales levels to those seen last year, although this will be clearer later in May.While there are concerns regarding the uncertainties within the market, there has been anincrease in extrusion activity within Europe. This ties in with the sentiment felt amongst clientsthat while there is uncertainty regarding Brexit and other European elections this is generallyseen as temporary and that the long-term outlook is more optimistic. Lead times are stillrelatively short with several extruders reporting 3-6 weeks for extrusions and 4-9 weeks forrods and bars.
