摘要

The utilization of technology in the instructional media development has an important role in the increase of the quality of teaching and learning achievements of students. The application of multimedia technology in the instructional media development is able to integrate aspects ofknowledge and skills. The main objective of this research is to develop a instructional media for mechanical technology practice by applying interactive multimedia technology. The results of the research in the form of a learning CD that can be used by students for independent study. Theseinstructional design models to development research using Dick and Carey models. Formative evaluation against the results of the research carried out several stages including: experts, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field trials. Instruments used in data collection is questionnaire.Based on the results of the data collection, obtained an average percentage of respondents to the products developed, namely: 85.18%, 84.10%, 89.84%, 79.06%, and 86.17%. Results of the processing data analysis, showed that the products developed received a positive response and deserves tobe used as instructional media of learning for courses of mechanical technology practice.
