Brazilian gasoline exports have surged in October, as state-controlled Petrobras has looked to meet rising demand in the US Atlantic coast market. Gasoline bookings for the export market are running at 222mn l (73,500 b/d) this month, according to estimates by oil analytics frm Vortexa, despite a dip in refnery output. Exports have rebounded from a two-year low of 71mn l in Sep- tember, a 43pc drop from August.
