DETROIT - The tipping point for electrified vehicles is in sight, claims a recent study by the Boston Consulting Group Inc. (BCG). By the end of the next decade, a combination of hybrid and fully electric power trains is expected to cut the global market share of pure internal combustion engines (ICEs) by 50 percent.
