摘要

The measurement of the roundness error on a CMM is always affected by probe errors and errors related to the machine axes. To further benefit from the multi-step method, this paper proposes a development and analysis for the separation of the roundness errors of a test ring, the probe errors, and also the errors related to the machine axes. Then, a reduction of the presented method is studied and tested using several virtual machines. Based on the reduced method, the proposed approach is tested and validated experimentally.
