With the end of the vacation season, European consumers have begunreturning to the market.Just small batches (up to 100 t) have been sporadically changing hands in theEuropean market for SiMn (65% Mn; 17% Si) and FeMn (78% Mn), with tradersmaking deals predominantly. Therefore, prices have been fluctuating within EUR 900-950/t DDP , yet there has been no jump as compared with July (EUR 880-920/t for SiMnand EUR 890-920/t for FeMn), as the price level has been fluctuating mainly dependingon purchased volumes. MC FeMn (78-82% Mn; 1.5% C) was shipped to consumersat about EUR 1,300-1,350/t DDP , against EUR 1,300-1,400/t DDP in July
