Kit - Limited run injection moulded styrene with photo etch - new tooling. Contents - 96 grey styrene, 10 clear styrene, 1 photo etch fret, 1 set of canopy masks, 1 set of instructions with colour and markings guide. Mouldings - The comments made regarding the previous kit apply here. General Comment - It's nice to see this subject released in a larger scale with the only previous offerings of the Proctor having been in 1:72 by this company and the age old Proctor IV by Frog/Novo of centuries ago. In regards this particular kit, apart from a handful of parts which are applicable to the Proctor, all remaining pieces are common to both this subject and previously reviewed Vega Gull. The same options are provided in this kit as in the above subject. The main differences here include the altered cabin configuration with an extra rearward facing seat and the radio equipment replacing the bench seat in the Vega Gull, the different tail wheel, propeller, spinner and nose assembly and the alternative windscreen. The remainder of the kit, and the assembly sequences are as per the Vega Gull. Again, no colour callouts are provided however most schemes can be determined from the decal guide sheet. Schemes and markings are provided for 5 aircraft.
