摘要

The biological Waste Water Treatment plants have a continuous growing importance for the sustainable development of modern society.The paper presents solutions for the control system design for the aerobic suspended growth wastewater treatment plant.Investigations have been carried out in the presence of typical disturbances taking into account the Model Predictive Control (MPC) of the soluble substrate and dissolved oxygen concentration.The combined feedback-feedforward MPC control approach improves the control performance,compared to traditional control or simple feedback MPC,due to its short setting time,reduced overshoot and multivariable character,showing benefits for industrial implementation.
