The composition algebra based methodology-previously shown to generate the pre-Higgs Standard Model Lagrangian in intrinsically left-chiral and local gauge invariant form-places a strict constraint on gauge mediated proton decay which phenomenologically differentiates it from the Yang-Mills formalism.
