Field experiments were conducted in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) at the mulberry farm of Research Extension Centre (REC), Vikarabad (A.P) during the year 2006-08 to assess the effect of certain organic formulations and botanical extracts in controlling the pest and diseases of foliage and root diseases of V-l mulberry (Moms alba L.) variety in three seasons, viz., summer, rainy and winter and available soil nutrients and micro-flora. The results of the farm trial revealed that among the nine treatments T_6 has recorded significanlty higher reduction of percentage of disease intensity (PDI) in foliar pest and diseases as well as root diseases as compared to other treatments, but it did not differ with T_7. The soil physical (pH, EC and OC), chemical (N,P,K,Ca, Mg, Mn, S, Cu, Fe and Zn) nutrients and microbial populations (bacteria, fungus, actinomyceties and Azotobacter) at leaf harvest (65-70 DAP) also improved significantiy with T_6. and T_7 as compared to their initial status of other treatments but did not differ each other.
