On behalf of the Institution of Chemists(India)I like to present herewith the 90th Annual Report of the Institution during the period from 1st December,2017 to 30th November,2018.During this year four meetings of the Council and three meetings of the Associateship Examination Sub-Committee were held.The all India Fellowship/Associateship(Without Examination)Sub-Committee functioned efficiently as in previous years.The 90th Annual General Meeting was held at 3-30 p.m.on Friday 27 April,2018 in the Lecture Hall of the Institution at 11/4,Dr.Biresh Guha Road,Kolkata-700 017 as notified in the Proceedings of the Institution of Chemists(India),Vol.89,2017,Part 1.Prof.K.A.Thaker Award for 2016 could not be Awarded.Sri T.Durai Pandian,Tamil Nadu(Life Associate),was presented the Capt.N.N.Dutta Cash Award(Rs.750/-)and T.V.Radhakrishnan Cash Award(Rs.500/-)for securing the First position,Sri Apan Manna,Kolkata(Life Associate),was presented the Allam Raja Mani Award(Rs.750/-)for securing the Second position and Sri Pramod Kumar,Sirmour,(Life Associate)was presented the T.V.Radhakrishnan Cash Award-1(Rs.750/-)for securing the Third position in Order of Merit of the Associateship Examination 2016.
