A newly formed alliance of farming and food processing groups has filed petitions with the USDA and the EPA over the next generation of genetically modified herbicide-tolerant crops. The Save Our Crops Coalition (SOCC) claims that applications of the herbicides, 2,4-D and dicamba, will damage non-target crops and pollinator habitats.
