Chinese company Shenzhen Noposion Agrochemicals saw agrochemical sales stutter in the first half of the year, falling by 2.5% to Yuan 1,039.2 million ($164.3 million at the current rate). The company, which focuses on domestic sales of pesticide formulations, recorded level first-quarter sales of Yuan 453.8 million ($71.7 million - Agrow No 641 p 5). Net profit during the first half of 2012 was also down, dropping 10.4% to Yuan 116.5 million ($18.4 million). Total costs for the formulations division fell during the six-month period by 1.9% to Yuan 608.3 million ($96.2 million). Agrochemicals accounted for some 93.4% of the company's total sales of Yuan 1,112.7 million ($175.9 million) in the first half.
