BASF plans to boost its seed treatment portfolio by developing active ingredients currently used in its crop protection range,the company said at the World Seed Congress in Berlin at the end of May.These products will complement the company's existing range following the acquisition from Bayer CropScience of a number of Aventis CropScience seed treatments in 2002 (Agrow No 412,p I).
