Student Affiliates of Seventeen (SAS) has served since 1977 as the representative body for student affiliates of the Society of Counseling Psychology (SCP; Division 17) of the American Psychological Association (APA; Glidden, Zachar, & Jaschik-Herman, 1993). The mission of SAS is to connect student and professional members of SCP, and to provide students with leadership and service opportunities within the Division and APA. SAS activities also involve advocating on behalf of students, providing networking and mentoring opportunities, and developing initiatives that advance both the academic and career experiences of student affiliates. Cleveland State University (CSU) has been honored to serve students and SCP as the SAS host institution during the 2013-2016 term
