At Booth 1747 at Interwire, staff from Mekosan will be ready to discuss the advantages of the company's DTC (direct torque control) technology and new capstan design for wiredrawing. Per the company, its R&D department worked hard to develop DTC technology that eliminates the need for an encoder in a wiredrawing machine, removing many potential problems and faults that can occur. Many wiredrawing companies have experienced encoder problems that create bottlenecks. These can be technical faults, but they still hold up production because the manufacturer has to make an immediate replacement. With our DTC technology, manufacturers not only see increased machine efficiency by minimizing system faults, we liberate them from having to remove an expensive component that will need to be replaced at some unknown time, which is always very inconvenient.
