Radioprotection against ionizing radiation is mostly provided by Chemical Radio-protectors which contain simple chemical molecules. Chemical radioprotection is primarily due to molecules which contain one or more functional groups namely -NH2, -SH, -COOH, =NH, SPO3H2, -OH center dot, -H-center dot etc.
