摘要

Local and national nurseries have stepped up to support a sweeping and ambitious effort to commemorate the Sesqui-centennial of The American Civil War. To honor the lives of the fallen, the nonprofit organization Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership launched the Living Legacy Project, an initiative of national significance to plant or dedicate a tree for each of the more than 620,000 soldiers who died during the American Civil War.
