Histological examination of a hypodermal mass from the inner part of the thigh of a dog revealed proliferated glandular epithelial cells showing an irregular tubular or aciniform appearance, some of which showed mitosis. The epithelial cells were intermingled with interstitial tissues consisting of abundant collagen fibers and mucous-like substance and with chondroid tissues. In immunohistochemical examinations using anti-secretory component antibody, most glandular cells gave positive reactions. Based on these findings, the diagnosis was mixed tumor(chondroid syringioma) of the skin derived from an apocrine sweat gland
