摘要

Latex contamination in food causes problems for latex allergic patients. A case illustrates this problem. Allergy to natural rubber latex (NRL) has become an important issue, both in occupational environments as in private life . It is one of the major occupational diseases among health care workers. The prevalence of latex sensitization among Western health care workers is estimated at 3-18%, versus < 1% in the general population.
