摘要

CBQ (Class Based Queueing) is a popular priority control mechanism to process specific services such as real-time communications. The authors have already proposed to improve the conventional CBQ, where the upper limit of bandwidth for each class is dynamically controlled according to the queue length of each priority class. In this paper, we discuss the implement methods of the proposed method on network processors. Based on the discussion, we implement the proposal mechanism on network processor IXP1200 and execute network experiments to evaluate the implement method.
