摘要

Solonchkous solonetz of microhills and meadow - chestnut soils of microdepressions forming a soil assemblage in the north Pricaspian Plain are found to have the similar degree of textural profile differentiation. This fact and the superdisperssion status of expandable clays give grounds to conclude that the meadow - chestnut soils had passed the salinization and (or) solonetzic stage in the course of their evolution. Accumulation of illites in the topsoil of both profiles as compared with the subsoil and parent material is thought to be due to the process of illitization. The higher content of illites in clay fraction throughout the whole profile (including BC horizon) meadow - chesnut soil as compared with solonchakous solonetzes in accounted formore intensive illization in soils of microdepressions due to the additional supply of K with melting water.
