摘要

There are two kinds of ridge, soil and concrete in the paddy field. Ridge is classified as three typeswhich are ridge aimed at travel in the beginning of the rice transplant, ridge of the field end and ridgeof the field side. This paper discribes the detection of the soil ridge. The ridge edge were detected bythe differential calculus processing with modified Kirsch operator. Each type of ridges was detectedusing each mask processing. Furthermore, the ridge line was determined using the Houghtransformation. Though there was the end of the ridge in the image of the aimed ridge ,the end of theridge line was detected. The ridge line of the paddy field end was drawed exactly.
