摘要

Waste oil from car engines degrading bacteria were isolated with LB medium containing 1% w/v waste oil. More than 20 bacteria were isolated as waste oil emulsifying bacteria. One bacterium, which was identified as Bacillus sp., strongly emulsified waste oil. The biosurfactant (BSF) activity of Bacillus sp. ODTY34 was 388 units/ml in LB medium after 22.5 hrs cultivation, and the BSF activity was enhanced by addition of glucose or glycerol. The BSF was purified by column and thin-layer chromatography. Molecular weight of the BSF was 1054.7 by mass spectrometry, and amino acids sequence of the BSF was L-Glu-L-Leu-D-Leu-L-Val-L-Asp-D-Leu-L-Leu, indicating that the BSF from strain ODTY34 was surfactin.
