In order to prevent microshock of patient in medical facilities, equipotential patient reference system set potential level under 10 mV. 10 mV was introduced by a assumption : Electric shock is a function of leak current or contact potential difference of some metals. Some nonmetalic materials has powerful e.m.f. It is need to keep potential of everythings in medical facilities at the same potential of patient heart.
