PKN Orlen(Plock,Poland)says it will invest 25.0 billion zloty($6.6 billion)in green energy projects by 2030 and cut carbon dioxide(CO2)emissions by 20% from its current refining and petrochemicals assets during the same period to achieve a newly stated goal of becoming climate neutral by 2050.The company will also reduce its CO2 emissions from electricity power generation by 33% over the next 10 years,it says.
