Iroy Corliss is the perfect man to bring a large-scale, signature work of art to the entrance of Cleveland Botanical Garden. Our Campsey-Stauffer Gateway Garden, the mar-velous public plaza whose native Ohio and other important plantings extend a luxuriant, green embrace to Garden visitors and passers-by alike, is the soon-to-be home of the California-based sculptor's latest major instal-lation. Corliss, who has been creating both provocative, context-driven public art and critically acclaimed smaller scale sculpture for fifteen years, was selected as the result of an extensive national search.
