In adults, ileocaeco-colic intussusception along with vermiform appendix within the intussusceptum is an' uncommon clinical scenario. Similarly, pathologists rarely but do see mucinous cystadenoma of the appendix.2-5 However, the concomitant occurrence of a mucinous cystadenoma of the appendix with an ileocaeco-colic intussusception where appendicular cystadenoma forms the lead point of intussusception is extremely rare. The search of published work on Medline (www.pubmed.gov) yields just eight such cases. To the best of our knowledge, it is ninth case being reported in the history of English medical published work.
