HERBICIDES such as Barricade (i.e., prodiamine), Ronstar (i.e., oxadiazon), Specticle (i.e., indaziflam), and Pendulum AquaCap (i.e., pendulum) are regularly used for preemergence (PRE) control of summer and winter annual weeds in hybrid bermudagrass(Cynodon dactylon x C. transvaalensis Burtt-Davey). Residual activity of these herbicides in soil allows for effective weed control for several weeks after treatment in either spring or fall.
