摘要

In this paper are presented the results obtained by thecharacterisation and the study of the rheological behavior ofconcentrated frits suspensions used in the preparation of ceramicglazes for single firing porous tiles. In particular the effects ofdifferent components and additives on the rheological parameterswhich control the processing phases were put out. For this workthe rotational viscosimetry has been utilised to study therheological behavior of glaze suspension using flow curves in awide range of apparent viscosity values (1-10~4cP). Themeasurements on the glaze suspensions were carried out oncontinuos flow which results the best method to reproduce theconditions where the glazes are undergo during the preparation andapplication phases.
