摘要

The following ceramic materials have beensynthesized from the mixed oxides route: Bi_4Ti_3O_12 (BIT),PbBi_4Ti_4O_15 (PBIT), Pb_7Bi_4Ti_5O_18 (P2BIT),Pb_3Bi_4Ti_6O_21 (P3BIT). These materials belong toAurivillius bismuth layers compounds family. In the present workthe integration factor m has the values 3, 4, 5 and 6, respectively.These materials have been conventionally sintered between 1000and 1150beg C, and by hot forging between 850 and 1000beg C inorder to obtain textured samples. The temperature of maximumdensity increases with the lead content, and the grain size decreases.For these temperatures the density was higher than 93percent ofthe theoretical density. The lattice parameters of these materialswere calculated from XRD patterns, the results indicate linealdependency among parameter c and m. The orientation degree ofthe crystallographic planes of the textured compounds werecalculated by the Lotgering formula, values higher than 90percentin the BIT, PBIT Y P2BIT have been obtained, and only 52percent for P3BIT.
