The Polish refiner said that rising demand for electricity in the country is leading it to investigate investments in various electricity production projects, including nuclear. PKN Oreln Vice President Miroslaw Kochalski said, ‘We are analyzing all potential opportunities or projects not from a one- or two-year perspective, but at least 15-20 years. We are examining all possible projects which could fall under our strategy, naturally also including the nuclear power plant project.’
