The Dutch EPC company announced on Aug. 31 that it was awarded a contract by Sunoco Partners Marketing Terminals valued at around $300MM to expand the Marcus Hook Industrial Complex in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania (US). The award and expansion are part of Sunoco's Mariner East 2 project, which will carry shale gas from the Marcellus play in western PA east to Marcus Hook where it will be loaded on tankers for shipment across the Atlantic to Europe. CBI's scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction of four large low-temperature tanks for storing refrigerated LPG (ethane, propane, and butane).
