In the first half of last year Kam Kam Sanitaryware Sdn Bhd received ISO 9002/1994. certification for meeting high standards in quality systems management.The award has earned Kam Kam Sanitaryware plce on the list of few top sanitaryware manufacturers in Malaysia. According to the company, the certification was seuccessfully achieved through its focus on stringent quality and product development policy The company added that its plant in Sarawak has been able to produce high qulity sanitaryware for it to penetrate into the international market. Operating at about 40 percent of total capacity, the plant churns out 100,000 to 120,000 pieces/annum. Of that 40 percent capacity about 30-40 percent of its production is presently exported to Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Brunei.
