Chevron has awarded two front end engineering and design (FEED) phase contracts for its wholly owned Wheatstone gas field project offshore the Pilbara region of Western Australia for an undisclosed amount.INTECSEA will design subsea gas gathering facilities and a 200km pipeline linking an onshore gas plant to a Technip Oceania engineered offshore production platform.
