BASF and China Petroleum & Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) have officially opened BASF-YPC Company,marking full completion of one of the largest Sino-foreign petrochemical joint venture projects in China with a total investment of 2.9 billion.Commercial production has commenced at a steam cracker as well as nine interconnected downstream plants.
