Operator BHP Billiton confirmed more commercial gas from its Zamzama gas field in Sindh Province,southern Pakistan.Zamzama East,drilled to a depth of 4051m,encountered a 36.3m net gas bearing Pab sandstone within a 61.3m gross gas column,flowing at 40mmscf/d of gas.This is the second successful appraisal well the company has drilled on the field since phase one of the development was completed in June 2003.The initial well,Zamzama North,confirmed a 127m gross gas column with 79m of net pay and flowed at 41mmscf/d.
