Methods for obtaining chromosomes for cytdlogical and cytogenetic analysis are of value in the understanding of intra- and inter-generic specific; biological behavior. The aim is that these methods will contribute to the standardization and establishment of cytogenetic techniques, that focus on the dot identification architecture chromosome of cells with high mitotic index from invertebrate organisms such as molluslcs, with the aim that they be used as a tool in the study and preservation of these organisms.
