EVER GIDDY, race winner Lucas Luhr was morose after winning the 83-lap American Le Mans Series race in the International Sports Car Weekend Presented by Continental Tire at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. To no one's surprise, the Muscle Milk Honda ARX-03c of Klaus Graf and Luhr dominated the race, the only car in the field of 33 to lap consistently under two minutes, and it was two laps ahead of the second-place Dyson Lola B12/60 of Tony Burgess and Chris McMurry. The third of the three cars in the PI field, the DeltaWing-making its first appearance as a coupe-ran roughly as fast as the GT cars until it retired with a gearbox failure on lap 65.
