摘要

Botanical explorations undertaken in District Doda of Jammu and Kashmir State from 1988 to 1992 brought to light six species new to Jammu Province. Numerous publications have aoppeared on the flora of different parts of Jammu and Kashmir State but aconsolidated account of the flora of the hill state is still awaited. A few districts remain to be explored still. While exploring the flora of district Doda, the present authors collected six species which turned to be new for Jammu Province. These aredealt below with brief description, flowering and fruiting period, habitat and their voucher number have been also cited.
