摘要

An epidemic attack Cyclopelta siccifolia Westwood was observed for the first time from Kalsi nursery on four-year-old plant of Robinia pseudoacacia Linn. (Misra and Mishra, 1993). Due to severe damage by these stink bugs leaves of Robinia started falling down after yellowing. Stink bugs' (Cyclopelta siccifolia) attack on Robinia psuedoacacia was also reported (Singh & Verma, 1991) from Solan (H.P.). While observing the damage by this sapsucker, which remain in groups of 90 to 100, few bugs were seen having a white fluffy mass of fungal pathogen. The pathogenicity of this microorganism was tested in the laboratory in order to evaluate its beneficial use as possible microbiai control agent. The results are presented in this paper.
