摘要

Bio-efficacy of different herbicides in the first cutting of Japanese mint was studied during 1991 and 1992. Pre-emergence application of ethal fluralin at 0.3 and 0.4 kg, terbutryn at 0.50 and 0.75 kg, isoproturon 0.47 and 0.75 kg and isoproturon 0.37 kg plus pendimethalin 0.37 kg/ha provided effective control of weeds. Highest herb yield of 226 and 248 q/ha was recorded with pre-emergence application of ethal fluralin at 0.3 kg/ha during 1991 and isoproturon 0.47 kg/ha during 1992, respectively. On an average of two years, these treatments produced 15.8 and 13.2 percent more yield than two hand hoeings and 140.6 and 135.2 percent more than unweeded control, respectively.
