This study dealt with the management of necrotic stomatitis in Murrah buffalo calves. Five Murrah buffalo calves developed necrotic stomatitis at the Instructional Livestock Farm of the college and revealed swollen hyperaemic gums, frothy salivation and highly fragile proliferative lesions on gums. These calves were immediately isolated and administered with injectable strepto-penicillin, liver extract and meloxicam intramuscularly for 3 days. Powder oxytetracycline minced with boroglycerine paste was applied locally. All the calves became apparently normal with no recurrence within a week.
