HET Instrument,the largest show for the analytical instrument industry in the Benelux region (Belgium,The Netherlands and Luxembourg)and one of the three biggest laboratory trade fairs in the world,was held from the 30th of October to the 3rd of November 2006,attracting 23,000 visitors to the Jaarbeurs conference centre in Utrecht,The Netherlands.While this was lower than the previous show in 2004 and a little disappointing given the 25,000 pre-registrations and the organiser's own predictions of around 30,000 visitors,the show did,however,boast 565 exhibitors in 40,000 sq m of stands,a little up on the previous time.
