M.u.t GmbH (Hamburg,Germany),a company developing photonics solutions for industrial,laboratory-based and mobile spectroscopy instrumentation,has changed its co-operation in the field of detector solutions from its partner Sony Corp to Hamamatsu Photonics KK (both Tokyo,Japan).The change of partner is to improve not only the resolution of the final detector,but also noise reduction,light sensitivity and contrast.Access to enough of these quality aggregates using the 'back-tinned'technology would only be possible with Hamamatsu as a partner,M.u.t.marketing manager,Volker Meliss,told Instrumenta.
