The Mineral Metallurgical Processing Division (MPD) awarded seven scholarships for the 2013-2014 school vear Six $1,500 scholarships were presented in addition to the $3,000 Richard Klimpel Memorial Scholarship. They were presented to four of the students at the MPD luncheon at the 2013 SME Annual Meeting in Denver, CO. Claire Leuschen and Sadegh Safarzadeh were unable to attend the luncheon and will receive checks and certificates from their university departments.
