This article presents an improved exponential estimation procedure for finite population mean in two phase successive sampling setup. Properties of the proposed estimator are studied and its performance is compared empirically with sample mean estimator and natural successive sampling estimator when no auxiliary information was used at any occasion. Suitable recommendations are made.
